Effortless Spring Style Boosts: Circle Body Shape

April 21, 2014 by Wendy Woods Leave a Comment

effortless spring style updates - circle body shape

After working with Margaret last summer, she found the “rules” for her body shape so helpful for her own sense of style, she now lives by them.

She asked for stylish suggestions that would suit her shape this season and we wanted everyone to benefit!

We hope you find these suggestions as helpful as Margaret does.

If you have a
circle body shape, these three options could be the perfect additions to your wardrobe this season.

1. Collared Tunic

Collared shirts are everywhere this season… but when do they ever really go out of style?  I love the idea of a tunic-style collared shirt for the circle body shape.  Paired with skinny jeans and your favourite sandals, you will find this an easy go-to spring look.

… for a cooler summer look, you could easily pair the tunic with short shorts (so the short peaks out under the tunic) and roll up your shirt sleeves.

… or you could pair your collared tunic with skinny dress pants and pumps to wear to work.

2. Pattern Pants

… or you could wear these pattern pants with a solid-coloured t-shirt and comfy shoes on the weekend.

… or with a wedge sandal and chandelier earrings for an evening bbq party.

3. Artistic Cuff

If you love your beautiful wrists, draw attention there with an artistic cuff.  The rest of this everyday outfit is simple, all the attention is focused on the bracelet.

… you could also use this awesome bracelet to add personality to a business suit.

… or worn as an edgy pop with a little black dress.

This article is part of a spring style update series.  You can see spring and summer style ideas for other body shapes here: rectangle, inverted triangle, triangle, standard, and hourglass.
